BP Bedfont Lakes HQ wins approval

Thu 28 March 2013, 3:22 pm

Hounslow Council has granted permission for the refurbishment and extension of IBM's former Bedfont Lakes home to create a 12,000sq m headquarters for oil and gas giant BP.

The consent, gained by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, will see the erection of new front, rear, and corner extensions for the New Square building, property website CoStar reported.

It said BP would move staff to the new base from Stockley Park and other local buildings.

CoStar added the firm was understood to be paying around £28.50 per sq foot for the new premises.
