A place profile by analyst Local Futures Group puts the borough fourth-highest in the country for its economic performance, based on productivity, industrial structure, business and enterprise, economic scale, and its growth in business stock..

The finding is part of a wider inward-investment report comparing the growth-related indexing scores of Hounslow and the 324 other local authority areas in England.

Councillor Ruth Cadbury, Hounslow Council's cabinet member for planning and regeneration, said the findings demonstrated the borough's dynamism and suitability for investment.
