The London Borough of Hounslow has announced a shortlist of developers to partner the council for the delivery of the Hounslow High Street Quarter.
Centros, Legal and General, Muse and Wilson Bowden with Barratt all made the list.
Brendon Walsh, Hounslow's director of regeneration, economic development and environment said: "It was a tough job splitting the nine companies who tendered at PQQ stage but I'm sure all will agree that this represents a very strong line-up for further consideration.
"We are looking forward to seeing more detailed proposals from the shortlisted teams and we're hoping that they can rise to the challenge of providing game-changing solutions for our town centre.
"We're looking for fantastic design, innovative use of materials and a winning scheme that puts Hounslow firmly back on the map."
