A £13 million affordable housing development on Hounslow's Great West Road is set for completion in summer 2014.
The scheme, by housing association A2Dominion, is being built on the site of a redundant office and factory site and incorporates houses, apartments and maisonettes for social rent and shared ownership.
Grant funding of over £5 million has been secured from the Homes and Communities Agency and the Greater London Authority towards the project, which is part of Hounslow’s Golden Mile.
Danny Lynch, A2Dominion development director for London, said: "This exciting development will bring into use a brownfield site in Hounslow that has been empty for more than 15 years.
"By providing a mixture of high quality homes for both social rent and shared ownership, we are helping to meet the affordable housing needs of local residents."
