by James Renoux-Wood Fri 24 January 2014, 4:02 pm

3Fox International will design a stand for Hounslow Council to feature prominently on the London Pavilion at MIPIM, the international property fair in the south of France.

MIPIM 2013

The company has worked with councils at MIPIM for the last five years, showcasing their goals for growth and promoting their inward investment strategies to key investors and developers from throughout the world.

This year’s event takes place between 11 and 14 March and marks the first time the company has designed a stand for the London Pavilion.

Events have also been organised by 3Fox to feature on the Hounslow stand:

  • Director of regeneration, economic development and environment at Hounslow Council, Brendon Walsh will meet publicly with Alistair Baird, chief executive at Barratts Development, where an announcement will be made.
  • Brentford FC will present its opportunity for a residential scheme to be built on the old Griffin Park ground, as the football club prepares to move to a new stadium. A table football tournament will also take place.
  •  A flight simulator will form part of the plans for presenting opportunities created by Heathrow Airport and the Golden Mile, the stretch of the Great West road that runs from the western boundary of Chiswick to just north of Brentford.
  •  3Fox will also partner Fullers brewery to provide pints of London Pride to thirsty delegates.

The company is also leading delegations for Ealing, Enfield and Brent Cross Cricklewood at the event. More details of these delegations will appear here soon.

Walsh said: "The council has done a significant amount of work on its local plan, including separate master planning exercises in opportunity areas such as the Golden Mile, in order to provide comfort to potential investors about our stance on development.

"Hounslow is a progressive borough with a big ambition. Wherever possible, we will want to say yes to development.

"The message is a simple one. Hounslow remains a great place to invest and my team is tasked to facilitate development, and will do everything they can to enable a smooth process through planning and into delivery."
