London Pride at the London Pavillion

A stand for Hounslow Council will feature prominently on the London Pavilion at MIPIM 2014, the international property fair in Cannes, France.

The authority will showcase its goals for growth and promote their inward investment strategies to key investors and developers from throughout the world at the event, which takes place between 11 and 14 March. 

3Fox International, the publisher of Great West magazine is organising the MIPIM delegation for Hounslow.

The company will run the following events for Hounslow throughout the week:

  • Director of regeneration, economic development and environment at Hounslow Council, Brendon Walsh will meet publicly with Alistair Baird, chief executive at Barratts Development, where an announcement will be made.
  • Brentford FC will present its opportunity for a residential scheme to be built on the old Griffin Park ground, as the football club prepares to move to a new stadium. A table football tournament will also take place.
  • A flight simulator will form part of the plans for presenting opportunities created by Heathrow Airport and the Golden Mile, the stretch of the Great West road that runs from the western boundary of Chiswick to just north of Brentford. 
  •  3Fox will also partner Fullers brewery to provide pints of London Pride to thirsty delegates.

Walsh said: "Our message to investors at MIPIM is a simple one: Hounslow remains a great place to invest. My team is tasked to facilitate development and will do everything they can to enable a smooth process through planning and into delivery."
