Lend Lease buys Hounslow site

by James Austin Mon 3 March 2014, 4:56 pm

Developer Lend Lease has bought a 0.52-ha site in Hounslow, where it plans to build a mixed-use development.

A planning application, which will set out proposals for retail and residential space, will be submitted later this year.

The existing Chiswick High Road plot comprises 69,000sq ft of buildings, including an 11-storey vacant office tower and seven retail units.

Dan Labbad, Lend Lease’s chief operating officer and chief executive in Europe, said: “We are delighted to have acquired this outstanding site in a prime West London location.”

The site was purchased from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, which was acting for Clerical Medical Investment Group.
