Waterside properties in high demand

by James Renoux-Wood Tue 10 June 2014, 3:21 pm

Two thirds of new homes at Brentford Lock West have been sold.

Bowline Court is the third phase of the waterside scheme by developer ISIS Waterside Regeneration. Previous phases – The Halyards and The Arbor – both sold out soon after completion.

The latest phase features one, two and three-bedroom homes. In total, the scheme will comprise 520 properties, as well as a number of commercial units to be delivered at a later stage.

Waterside activities run by the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and local urban horticulture enterprise, Cultivate, which has set up an urban farm, have contributed to the project.

Katie Sully, development director at ISIS Waterside Regeneration, said: “With access on to the canal, beautiful green spaces on its doorstep and good connections into London and the surrounding boroughs, Brentford has a lot to offer.

“Since launching Brentford Lock West last year, a lot of our sales have been to young professionals, keen to buy in to the vibrant new community we are building here. As the first of our residents move into their new homes and the scheme develops, there will be a lot to attract new homebuyers and businesses alike.”
