by James Renoux-Wood Wed 16 July 2014, 12:38 pm

Freight forwarding company, Savino Del Bene, is taking 1,180sq m of space at the North Feltham Trading Estate near Heathrow Airport, to use as its airport distribution hub.

The site is managed by the Airport Property Partnership, a joint venture between Segro and Aviva Investors, which offers warehousing in close proximity to transport hubs such as Heathrow Airport.

Segro is the asset manager and Aviva Investors is the fund manager for the scheme.

Alan Holland, business unit director of APP and SEGRO for Greater London, said: “This deal reflects the continued demand we are seeing for high quality self-contained units.

“North Feltham Trading Estate remains a popular location for freight and airline businesses, and we are pleased to welcome Savino Del Bene to the estate.

"The APP recently completed the development of two new facilities at North Feltham Trading Estate, and we will continue to invest in assets at Heathrow.”
