Representatives from Hounslow Council and the Chamber of Commerce this week visited the winner of the best SME at the Hounslow Business Awards.
Russell Finex, which has been in operation for 80 years, manufactures industrial sieves and filters for businesses around the world
The company was visited by Councillor Sue Sampson, cabinet member for communities and economic development and Sally Smith, chief operating officer of Hounslow Chamber of Commerce, as part of a “fact-finding mission”.
Sampson said: “Much of the future prosperity of the UK will be driven on how successful the country is in exporting high quality manufactured goods and it’s companies like Russell Finex who are helping Hounslow lead the way.”
Martin Chipperfield, sales and marketing director at Russell Finex talked about the company’s export drive: “Entering our 80th year in business, we have continued to invest heavily in research and development to provide customers with high quality, market leading manufacturing equipment.
“To meet the increase in demand from our ever growing global customer base we have also invested significantly in our UK manufacturing facilities to ensure we can meet the needs of our customers no matter where they are.”
