Brentford is fast becoming one of west Londonís best places to live, according to Hounslow council leader, Steve Curran.
“Brentford is booming and fast becoming one of west London’s best places to live, work and relax by the river,” he said.
“The place has definitely got an up and coming, feel-good vibe to it and the opening of the market place is something I – and I hope local residents and businesses – are looking forward to.”
And it’s not just talk: at the end of September, the refurbished market place will open in the town, marked by an event which will include rides, street food and a steel band, while cultural events coming up include an outdoor theatre performance on 24 September at Market Square, a floating cinema on 26 September and 3D Street Art on 28 September, both at Brentford Lock Piazza.
