Luxury homes scheme gets go-ahead

Thu 11 December 2014, 12:36 pm

Developer Berkeley Homes has won planning permission for its Chiswick Gate scheme, which will see it build three, four and five-bedroom luxury townhouses and one, two and three-bedroom apartments in Chiswick.

The planning committee approved the first phase of the development at the end of October, and homes will be launched for sale in early 2015.

Chiswick Gate will be located near to the Grade I-listed Chiswick House and historic gardens. Homes at the site will feature landscaped gardens and park areas.

Matthew Biddle, managing director for Berkeley Homes West, said: Chiswick has such a strong reputation within London and is desirable for families, professional couples and downsizers alike. It has a buzz of exclusivity around it. With its luscious private gardens and close proximity to the river, we expect huge demand for the homes when they launch.”
