Paving the way for council homes

by James Renoux-Wood Wed 25 March 2015, 11:04 am

The demolition of derelict housing estate, Hogarth Court, got underway this month, and is being replaced with 40 modern flats.

The scheme will be delivered by social housing group, United House, and will take 18 months to complete. In recent weeks Hounslow Council has signed contracts with United House for six sites with a combined value of £40 million.

Hounslow Council plans to start work on building 170 council homes in the borough in the coming month.

Steve Carden, divisional director for United House, said: “We look forward to working with the residents of Hogarth Court and the wider community to not only deliver high quality new homes but wider benefits to the local community”.
