Hounslow Council has granted planning permission to transform a former commercial building in Hounslow into 127 homes.
Planning consent was granted to A2Dominion, which purchased the site on Bell Road – just off Hounslow town centre’s high street – in June 2014.
The one, two and three-bedroom homes will be available for sale and rent, and include 13 properties for wheelchair users.
The scheme also includes 1,127sq m of commercial space and over 250 bicycle parking bays.
Work is due to start on-site in spring 2016, with the development set for completion in summer 2018.
Karen Green, A2Dominion’s assistant development director, said: “The redevelopment of this vacant site in Hounslow supports our ongoing regeneration of the area.
“The scheme will include homes for private sale, private rent and shared ownership, which will be available through our FABRICA by A2Dominion brand.”
A2Dominion is currently developing 470 new homes in the borough, including 155 homes at a site on London Road, 101 homes at Hounslow Quarter in the town’s High Street, 61 properties on the former Alfa Laval site on Ealing Road, and 26 homes on Pears Road.
