The fifth issue of Great West magazine – about ongoing development in the London Borough of Hounslow – will be launched at MIPIM, the annual international property conference, which takes place between 15 and 18 March 2016 in Cannes.
The new issue explores the contribution that the UK’s leading architects are bringing to development schemes such as Brentford Lock West and Capital Interchange Way, the council’s plan to move its headquarters to Bath Road and the growth of the hub of media companies based in west Hounslow.
It also provides updates on the various regeneration schemes in the borough and features interviews with senior council officers, who share insights into the projects they admire and the development process.
Hounslow Council’s stand at MIPIM, which will be based at the London Pavilion, will offer delegates the opportunity to use a flight simulator. Publisher of Great West, 3Fox International, which is organising the Hounslow delegation in 2016 for a fourth year running, developed the council's idea for the simulator as a way of encouraging delegates to visit the borough’s stand and find out about opportunities for regeneration and development in the London borough.
Expansion plans for Heathrow are likely to form a large part of discussions about Hounslow at the conference.
