Arts festival celebrates 20 years

by Marco Cillario Thu 26 May 2016, 10:14 am

Feltham Arts Festival is returning to the borough for the 20th time in May and June 2016.

Organised by the Feltham Arts Association and supported by Hounslow Council, the festival is spread across 60 days and aims to act as a conduit for emerging talents in the borough to appear alongside established artists from across London.

The main features will be the Community Funday on 1 June, with carnival and dance workshops, and Hounslow Has Talent on 4 June, a borough-wide talent show inviting residents to demonstrate their skills.

The festival will also include sketching classes open to beginners with artist Kate Evans, music lessons with Hounslow Community Brass Band at the Reach Academy, history talks with Feltham History Group and weekly meetings with local book clubs.

The complete programme is available here.
