Heathrow will be one of the main focuses in the sixth edition of Great West magazine, which will be launched at property industry conference MIPIM in Cannes in mid-March.
The business publication will look at the role of cargo planes within the airport, analysing figures and facts for import and export, and feature interviews with businesses based in Hounslow which play a role in freight.
The magazine will feature interviews with politicians and executives in the boroughs surrounding Heathrow to investigate the impact the airport has on local economies.
A special section will be dedicated to a number of quirky craft businesses working in diverse fields in Hounslow.
Among them, Icelandic artist Kristjana S Williams Studio in Brentford sells prints for textiles and wallpaper for £3,000-£6,250 and was commissioned to design a lighting installation for the facade of the Belmond Copacabana Palace hotel during the Rio Olympics; Sipsmith in Chiswick was voted 10th best craft gin by Time Out London and is reaching a wider market through sales in airports, Harvey Nichols and M&S; Bristol Cars moved its parts, service and restoration workshop to Brentford in 2014.
